TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP We are always looking for new members to join our group. There are six different levels of membership in the Friends organization:
All memberships costs are per year. We will gladly accept any donation in excess of the membership dues! Please fill out the Membership Form and return it to the Library with your dues -- kindly make your checks payable to "Friends of the Bigelow Free Public Library". The forms and dues may be returned in person to Mrs. Marini in the Children's Room at the Library or you may mail it to: The Friends of the Bigelow Free Public Library Attn: Mrs. Debbie Marini 54 Walnut Street Clinton, MA 01510 VOLUNTEERING We can always use an extra pair of hands! Volunteerism by its membership is critical to the present and future success of the Friends and the Library. We encourage anyone that becomes a member to consider attending our monthly meetings, held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Library. New inputs and perspectives are always welcome! We also encourage our members to volunteer during our fundraising events -- the typical time commitment is 3 to 5 hours before the event and 2 to 6 hours on the day of the event. Also, the Library always needs volunteers during its operating hours to shelve books, file or perform other tasks as required. Please see Ms. Flaherty in the Adult Library or Mrs. Marini in the Children's Room if you are interested. Please understand that if you cannot commit your time as a volunteer, the Friends nonetheless greatly appreciate your assistance in the form of your membership dues!
