WHO ARE WE?

The Friends of the Bigelow Free Public Library is an organization made up of individuals and families who financially support the Bigelow Free Public Library with their annual dues and volunteer services. Anyone can be a Friend of the Bigelow Free Public Library.


WHAT IS OUR PURPOSE?

The Friends is a nonprofit, educational and charitable organization that helps the Bigelow Free Public Library to:

  • Increase Public Awareness and Use of the Library

  • Raise Supplementary Funds

  • Encourage Donations, Gifts, Endowments and Bequests


WHAT DO WE DO FOR THE LIBRARY?

  • Organize Fundraising Events

  • Host Special Events and Informational Programs

  • Provide Volunteer Assistance

  • Sponsor Library Public Awareness Events and Campaigns

  • Work With the Board of Trustees and Other Appointed Library Committees

  • Represent the Library at Community Events
