Children's Room Information
 
Mrs. Marini has Summer Reading Woes!! Yes, it is approaching us again! And we all know about budget cuts! Please help us by returning your past summer reading books -- we know they are overdue!! We are not out to collect fines at this point! We just want as many books back as possible -- we cannot replace books that were not returned!! So parents, please help your children look for all of these books! These go back at least 3 years!!
 
Library Cards
Children ages five and up are eligible for a library card. Stop by to fill out an application and check out some great books today!
Young Adult Section
The Children's Room now has a new young adult section, "The Zone". This section is recommended for grades 7 through 10. It offers a quiet spot for young adults to hang out and enjoy a great book or magazine. Stop by and check it out!!
Programs for Teens
Please speak with Mrs. Marini for more information on upcoming "Teen Only" programs.
Children's Special Events
 
Thursday "After School Specials"
Each week (starting Thursday, November 15) we will have a craft-making workshop or show a movie (alternating weekly) for children ages 5 to 9. It will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. and children must be pre-registered to attend! Please call 978-365-4160, ext. 223 to register!
         
         
 

"Happy Birthday to You"!
We have started our new literacy program called "Happy Birthday to You"! Is it your birthday? Come in and tell us how old you are on your birthday and receive a "We Celebrate You" gift bag with an assortment of materials from your library!! And don't forget, when you turn 5-years-old, you are eligible for your first library card!!
 

 

"Stories and Fun for 2's"
Registrations are now being accepted for two-year-old's!! This program will be held on Thursday mornings at 10:00 AM on the following dates:

  • May 15th
  • June 5th and June 12th

** Children MUST be pre-registered to attend! Please call the Children's Room to register your child for this program. Children must be at least 2-years-old to attend this program!
 
"Storytime and More for 3's and 4's"
 Registrations are now being accepted for three-and-four-year-old children!! This program will be held on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 AM on the following dates:
  • May 13th, 20th and 27th
  • June 3rd and 10th

** Children MUST be pre-registered to attend!! Please call the Children's Room to register your child for this program. Please note the change of day! Children must be at least 3-years-old to attend this program!
